Qiannan Wangjiang Transformer Co., Ltd. was established in August 2007, jointly funded by Chongqing Wangbian Electric (Group) Co., Ltd. and Qiannan Duoneng Development Co., Ltd. Chongqing Wangbian Electric (Group) Co., Ltd. is a national-level specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprise, an A-share listed company, one of the top 50 private industrial enterprises in Chongqing, a high-tech enterprise in Chongqing, and a technology innovation demonstration enterprise in Chongqing; Qiannan Duoneng Development Co., Ltd. is a large collective enterprise under the Duyun Power Supply Bureau of Guizhou Power Grid Co., Ltd.

The company’s registered capital is 12 million yuan, and its main business scope includes: power transformers, high and low voltage complete sets of equipment, mining transformers, low-voltage reactive compensation devices, and the manufacture, sales, renovation and maintenance of various special transformers and power distribution equipment. The company’s original production base is located on North Jianjiang Road, Guanghui Office, Duyun City. In order to expand the company’s production and operation scale, it signed an investment agreement with the Duyun Municipal Government in 2019, planning to invest 120 million yuan to purchase more than 60 acres of land in the Lvyin Lake Industrial Park in Duyun City, and build a new Qiannan electrical equipment production base, with more than 33,000 square meters of office space and production plants.

At the beginning of the company’s establishment, due to the limitation of production site, the original North Jianjiang Road production base could only produce 10KV oil-immersed distribution transformers with an annual output of about 50 million yuan. The new electrical equipment production base started construction in September 2020 and was completed and put into production in September 2021, with a designed production capacity of 300 million yuan. Now, it is able to produce 35KV and 10KV distribution transformers of various models, various high and low voltage distribution cabinets, box-type substations, photovoltaic box transformers, wind power box transformers, etc., greatly enriching the product category. The company is committed to building a benchmark enterprise for the production of power equipment in the mechanical industry of Guizhou Province, and providing more abundant products and more complete comprehensive services for the construction of power infrastructure in Guizhou and the neighboring provinces.
